Bella
is a sweet girl who captured my heart when I first met her
at Hound Day in September 2005! She would come out in the
yard with all the other dogs and just stare up into my eyes,
wanting nothing but love from me, while all the others were
milling about! I managed to leave her at the kennel and fly
back to Newfoundland after that weekend... Two days later
I frantically called David and Jeanette to see if they could
get her on a flight for me so I could foster her! After about
a month of fostering, she had captured Chris's heart as well,
and she became a permanent addition to our home, making her
our third greyhound! Bella is a very gentle and affectionate
girl who loves to cuddle in bed with her Dad in the mornings!
She has become the alpha dog, which will be surprising for
those of you who have heard me talk about what a dominant
dog Storm is! The two of them play together all the time,
and Prince just kind of lets her do her thing, as long as
she's not bossing him around! Bella has brought so much love
into our hearts and home, and we are very lucky to have found
